At Fitness Through Health, we believe in only the highest standards of physical fitness training and personal training. Our staff members at Fitness Through Health are actively enriching the lives of our members and creating a community of likeminded people who love being healthy and strong. It’s important for us to take the intimidation out of personal training and working out for every person and to make sure getting you in shape is our goal.

VIRTUAL PERSONAL TRAINING

Join us for one on one virtual personal training. Personal training techniques build a strong body from which one can transition into more advanced stages, including a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a range of difficulties, from beginner to advanced. Treat yourself today — you deserve it!

MONTHLY EMAIL PROGRAM

This is a great alternative if you are accountable to yourself and can work out on your own. You will be emailed a new customized workout routine each month and will be provided with weekly "check-ins" to see how you are doing.

PERSONAL GUIDANCE & MENTORSHIP

It is amazing the confidence that sports and exercise gives you. Clients come with little self-esteem, and within a few short months they hold their heads up high and walk with confidence. Laura finds it very rewarding for when she can have a positive impact on what her clients say when they look in the mirror.

ONLINE BOXING CLASS

Join us for Boxing and exercise your way to a healthy body and mind. You will learn from Laura Ockey who has been in the ring! In this class you will learn technique, learn how to throw punches properly and learn how to hold pads. Any level is welcome, from beginner too advanced. Treat yourself today — you deserve it!

NUTRITION COACHING

Build sustainable habits that support your health, energy, and fitness goals. Nutrition coaching provides personalized guidance to help you understand how food fuels your body and how to make smarter choices that fit your lifestyle. Rather than restrictive dieting, the focus is on creating practical, long-term habits that improve overall wellness. Whether your goal is weight management, increased energy, or improved performance, you’ll receive supportive coaching, realistic strategies, and accountability to help you stay on track. Laura has experience with ALL TYPES of clients. Whether you just want to lose weight, or are a professional athlete she has a solution for you! Some of her clients include contestants of the show X-Weighted as well as the one and only Hayley Wickenheiser!

Laura has over fifteen years of experience in personal training. She is an excellent motivator, who is able to help clients achieve their goals and get the most out of themselves while still maintaining a fun atmosphere. Laura has a strong focus on working with clients who have suffered injuries with the ability to help create programs that will specifically strengthen certain areas and help to avoid future injury. She welcomes everyone and her main goal is to take the intimidation out of working out.
